How It Works

Browse & Book

Choose your dress, pick your event date, and book directly on the site. Peak weekends fill up fast — the earlier, the better.

Pickup or Delivery

Collect from our Kogarah studio, or have it delivered straight to your door. A flat $28 covers both delivery and the return courier — no extra charges.

Wear It

Every dress is professionally cleaned and pressed before it reaches you. All you have to do is show up.

Return by Monday Noon

Drop it back at the studio or hand the parcel to the courier. No late-night deadlines — just before 12pm the following Monday.

Please read before booking

Terms & Conditions

Hire Period

All garments are hired for the standard period beginning on your nominated event date and ending at 12:00pm (noon) on the following Monday. Extensions are not available without prior written agreement and are subject to availability.

Booking & Payment

Bookings are confirmed upon full payment of the hire fee. Payment is non-refundable unless cancellation is requested more than 7 days before the hire start date, in which case a store credit will be issued. No cash refunds under any circumstances.

Garment Care

  • Garments must not be washed, altered, or dry cleaned by the hirer.
  • All cleaning is managed by Muse Dress Hire between each booking.
  • Garments should be returned in the condition they were received. Minor wear is expected; stains, tears, and damage beyond normal use will incur additional charges.

Damage & Replacement

In the event of damage, the hirer agrees to pay a repair cost as assessed by Muse Dress Hire. If a garment is deemed beyond repair or is not returned, the hirer is liable for the full retail replacement value (RRP). A security bond may be required for select high-value items.

Late Returns

Garments returned after 12:00pm Monday without prior arrangement will incur a late fee of $30 per day until the item is received. Repeated late returns may result in future booking restrictions.

Pickup & Delivery

Pickup is available from Unit 309/12 Stanley St, Kogarah NSW 2217 by appointment. Delivery is available Australia-wide for a flat fee of $28, covering both outbound dispatch and return courier. Muse Dress Hire is not responsible for delays caused by third-party courier services.

Fit & Sizing

We strongly encourage using our sizing guides and reaching out before booking if you're unsure. Refunds or exchanges due to fit are not available once a garment has been dispatched or collected. If in doubt, book a studio appointment before confirming.

Cancellations

  • 7+ days before event date: store credit issued.
  • Within 7 days of event date: no refund or credit.
  • Once the garment has been dispatched or collected: no cancellations accepted.

Limitation of Liability

Muse Dress Hire is not liable for any loss or inconvenience arising from garment unavailability due to circumstances beyond our control, including delivery delays or force majeure. Maximum liability is limited to the hire fee paid.
